The EAPOC-VL project was sucessfully launched on 13- 14th April 2022 at the Uganda Virus Research Institute. This was a hybrid event with online participation of study site members from countries like Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.
When the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern in January 2020, The Global Health Network immediately set up the COVID-19 Research Implementation and Knowledge Hub. The aim of the Knowledge Hub is to ensure that research teams can find the support, tools, resources and guidance that they need to aid their studies during this rapidly evolving situation.
