I am Miza Silima Vuai, I was born in 1987 in Zanzibar - Tanzania. I am a married woman with two children. I graduated with a bachelors degree of Microbiology at University of Dar-es-salaam in 2012 and a masters degree of microbiology at Dalian Medical University China in 2018. In 2012, I joined the state University of Zanzibar (SUZA) as a laboratory scientist. 

I have been working at this post for 6 years.  In 2019 I was appointed as assistant lecturer for the Department of microbiology and parasitology at SUZA. I participated in some trainings and workshops such as Training on good clinical laboratory practicese, pedagogiacal skills, workshop on Workshop of research methodology and academic writing, and laboratory workshop on molecular analysis of insecticide resistance in aedes mosquitoes.
