The EAPoC_VL study protocol training in Kigali

During the period of 20^th -25^th March 2023, the University of Rwanda organized a two-round protocol training on the EAPoC_VL study. The first round was held on 20^th -22^nd March 2023 and mainly targeted control study sites staff while the second round was held on 23^rd-25^th March 2023 and mainly targeted intervention sites staff. The training took place at University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, in Musanze district. The training aimed to provide site staffs with all detailed information about every step of the study implementation, the procedures of implementing project activities and research ethics. The training was also an opportunity to introduce the EAPoC_VL study to main stakeholders. The first round of the training was attended by 20 participants while the second one was attended by 19 participants. The participants consisted of study sites staff, UR study team and Rwanda RBC study team.
