Khadija Yahya Malima (PhD) is currently the Chief Research Officer for Health at the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). Prior to this, she was the Dean of the School of Nursing at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) where she taught Research Methodology, Epidemiology including Nutritional Epidemiology, Medical Nursing with clinical & nutritional management; conducted research on HIV and nutrition and a member of the Data Safety Board in HIV and nutritional supplement clinical trials. At COSTECH, she coordinates quality research in national priority areas, and is a member of the National Evaluation Platform in the utilisation of routine health facility data for evaluation of health interventions for Maternal Newborn & Child Health and Nutrition. Undertakes effective monitoring and evaluation of research and development activities, and keeps abreast with emerging health researches, technologies and Innovations and prepares strategies for acquiring adaptation and adaptation.
