COVID-19 Uganda Update 28-04-2020
All 2,400 samples tested today at the UVRI were negative for COVID-19. 534 samples were from the community while 1,866 samples were from truck drivers. The total Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Uganda still stands at 79. 5 patients who were previously confirmed for COVID-19 have recovered, tested negative twice for the disease and discharged from hospitals. 3 were discharged from Entebbe Hospital while 2 patients were discharged from Mulago Hospital. Total recoveries now stands at 52 in Uganda. Remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, continue to follow WHO guidelines on social distancing, keep at least 4 meters from the individual nearest to you.
