COVID-19 Uganda Update

Today, 439 COVID-19 relaed samples  have been tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute and all of them tested negative for COVID. Uganda still has 53 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as o the press release from the Ministry of Health Uganda. 610 contacts to the confirmed cases are under follow up while a total of 654 individuals have been discharged from quarantine centers all over the country and Uganda has not registered any Covid – 19 related deaths thanks to the effectiveness of the COVID-19 Uganda task force and the president of Uganda.

Remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water so as to avoid the infection and spread of Covid-19. The nation is also advised to continue to following Ministry of Health Uganda and World Health Organisation guidelines on social distancing, keep at least 4 meters from the individual nearest to you.
